I asked Cameron today what he would say if someone called on the phone while I wasn't home. He seemed confused, so we role played. This is how it went...
Me: Brrrrrr-ing! Brrrrrr-ing!
Cameron: Hello?
Me: Hi, is your mom home?
Cameron: She can't come to the phone right now.
Me: How about your dad, is he home?
Cameron: He can't come to the phone either.
(I was trying to elicit an offer from Cameron to take a message...)
Me: Are they really home, or are you just saying that?
Cameron: Yeah, they're home, they're just both in the shower.

Love it, glad to see the romance is still alive after 10 years and 4 sons!
That's great! Way to keep from caving Cameron.
I really hope he gets the opportunity to say that to a stranger one day. If they laugh half as hard as I did, it's sure to brighten their day! Now he just needs to add "they've been in there for about five minutes, so they'll be out any second now."
That is hilarious! And be very happy that he didn't say they are both going to the bathroom! ;)
Oh my gosh...so very funny! We had a girl in our ward tell us that her parents are "always taking naps". Careful what you tell your kids I guess!
