Stealing other people's ideas in an attempt to redeem myself from my last post.

I feel the need to follow my last post with something good, and so I "borrowed" this idea from Jourdan's blog, although, I have seen what she can do and I cannot hope to come close to her artistic talent, so don't get overly excited. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

I have been itching to learn a few new tricks, hand-made doo-dads and fancy schmancy this and thats. And what better way to redeem myself from all my follies than to give those things away? So here's the deal; leave a comment on this post telling me the best hand-made gift you have ever given or received, then on Saturday I will use random.org to choose two winners. What will those two winners receive?

Something hand-made by me. It could be home decor, a holiday decoration, or something edible. Anything at all - and there will be no trading allowed.

Because I intend to make something that I have never made before, it could be hideous and disgusting, but you must love it anyway.

I guarantee it's completion before Christmas. Hopefully sooner. (Even though I have only made good on one of the Ben and Jerry's questions so far. Sorry Natalie, I was trying to figure out the "print a pint" coupon, only to realize that the process is more complicated than that, so you're just going to get money in the mail for your ice cream. I haven't forgotten you. Erin, I hope yours was tasty!)
