We celebrated Trent's first birthday tonight, and I think I'm still in shock at how fast this year has gone. Seems like only yesterday that I was running laps around the house, doing jumping-jacks and even squats in attempt to induce labor. And then there's the other end of the shock in which I find myself amazed that my last little baby isn't a baby anymore. Such a shame...
...except that I can nearly start a countdown chart to no more diapers. So I'm coping just fine.
As for Trent, he is still the same happy, quiet, lovable tub-o that he always has been. He's learned to stand up and balance on his own, but so far, no steps. Give us a few more weeks. He weighs as much as an anvil, and if you don't believe me, I'll show you an x-ray of my back after carrying him on my hip. But more about Trent later, when I post our so-exciting-you'll-pee-your-pants family update later this weekend.
