Mirror Lake

I'm not usually the type to post a lot of pictures, but that seems to be all I do lately. So here's one more picture post, and then I must get back to writing and sarcasm or I might shrivel up and die.

Today we took our four kids, plus Bryan, up to Mirror Lake, which is in the Uintah mountains, about 2 hours from here. It was good to see trees and be in nature, mosquitoes and all.

It was getting pretty dark by the time we took this picture, but Andrew saw his first moose! That was his goal for the day, so he was excited to check it off his list.

Andrew corrupting my children.

The biggest catch of the day. Oh well, still fun!

Trent likes me best.

Proof that I was there.

Oh, Drew. Who teaches kids to do this in pictures??

Tossing some cereal on the blanket was my idea for keeping Bryan out of the lake, but Trent was the only one to hang around and eat it, seeing as he can't crawl yet. Bryan figured he could load some up in his cheeks and take off again - no need to stay put just for food.

I just keep popping up everywhere.

Tiny face boy.

Bryan was WAY excited. Trent was mellow, as always.

Tool of the devil.

At least I'll get some weekends to myself when Andrew, I mean, the little boys are old enough to go with Dad.

Ah...nature.
