Just For Clarification
In case there is anyone out there who uses the term "SNAFU", but is unsure of it's meaning, let's have a little lesson. SNAFU is an acronym which was employed during World War II by the American soldiers. It stands for "situation normal; all effed up". (You're welcome for the censoring.) I apologize for the necessity of this post, I just think that maybe people should stop using the term in church. For example, when one is sitting in Relief Society and the sister conducting asks if anyone has a Good News Moment to share, it may be inappropriate for you to raise your hand and say, "My daughter had her first baby on Thursday! There was a little snafu in the delivery room, but everything turned out ok, and the baby is darling!" Just a thought.
