I have been wondering if "going private" would be a good thing to do. I can't decide.
Benefits of being public:
less hassle for all involved
is there anything else?
Benefits of being private:
pretty certain that pictures of your kids won't end up on random and possibly questionable websites, or some other such travesty
is there anything else?
Anyone have an opinion? Except for Natalie, who already gave her opinion and now thinks I am paranoid... just kidding. :)

I had mine as private before travel...I liked it actually...then you know who is looking at your site...you can allow ANYONE you want to view... I am thinking I might go private again too...especially since I am pretty candid in my remarks and comments on my kids.
I have a friend who has made up names for everyone in her family, so she never uses their real names, but we all know who she's talking about. She still puts up photos though.
