We're Considering Bypass Surgery
Seriously, is this normal? I've always had thin babies, no trace of that baby fat thing that I hear so many mothers talk about. Trent, however is a monster. Andrew sings the Jewel song "Fat Boy" to him on a regular basis. His nicknames include Fat Boy, (which we'll have to drop before we give him a complex), Gummy Bear, (since he's so squishy), and today we're contemplating a whole slew of nicknames that we've heard Sawyer call Hurley on Lost.
Pretty soon he won't be able to bend his knees at all!
And his socks are so tight on his plump, squatty legs that he always has these marks. Can't feel good. Is there such a thing as a plus-size store for babies?? By the way, the outfit in this picture is one that Drew got for his first birthday. Trent is all of five and a half months old. Ridiculous.
Well, I guess since he seems pretty happy.... ...we'll just let it go and hope that we never have to squeeze him down to normal size like Violet Beauregarde after her three course dinner gum.

chubby babies are happy babies, so enjoy! He's adorable. I especially like his dimples!!!!
I think you're just confused because you are comparing him to Drew. Drew has always been what Katie would lovingly call an "Ethiopian baby." This is something she regularly calls Josh, too. I mean, the kid is so skinny that he could slip his cast right off his arm! Don't worry about Trent, you just have to adjust to having a normal sized child after being used to these Ethiopian-sized kids!
you are a funny girl.
Trent is a love.
He will be just fine!
Oh, how I would love to grab up the little chubster and shower him with kisses! By the time I get to see him, he might be able to tackle me! ;) Seriously - his little chubby cheeks are adorable!
